Free 20-minute call

Somebody has to tell you the real date.

I'm Badri. I work with CEOs, COOs and CTOs at software and tech-enabled companies. I find out what's actually happening on a program, fix what can be fixed, and run delivery for a while if you want me to, until your team can carry on without me.

It's free. You tell me what's going on, and we decide together whether I can help.

Three ways to work together

Most people find me after something has already gone wrong. Others want help earlier, or want someone to run delivery for a stretch. Pick whichever sounds like your week.

Rescue

Something you committed to is slipping.

I find out what's really going on, tell you straight, and help you settle on a date you can defend. It starts with a Two-Week Reality Check and ends with a one-page answer.

Fixed fee, agreed up front. See how rescue works →

Fractional leadership

You need delivery run, not reported on.

I lead your program or delivery function one to three days a week, from inside your team. The plan, the risks and the calls are mine to own.

Advisory

You have a decision coming and nobody neutral to think it through with.

A standing conversation, kept small. Bring me the date, the vendor, the hire or the plan, and I'll tell you what I'd push on. I only work from what you tell me.

How I work

  1. Find out what's true. I talk to the people doing the work and read what's already written down. The real problem usually isn't the one everyone has been arguing about.
  2. Make the plan believable. Owners with names, dates someone has checked, and the stuck decisions finally given to somebody.
  3. Hand it back. If I've done this right, you stop needing me.

Who you'd be talking to

I'm Badri S. I've spent more than twenty years in software delivery, most of it as the person asked why the date moved. I started as a project manager, became a program director, then a portfolio lead. I went independent in 2026.

I've run delivery where a slipped date turns into a budget conversation with a client's CIO, with teams spread across time zones. I've owned a whole portfolio of programs at once, built the operating model for a new delivery division, and led the group that reviewed estimates on large deals. I've also worked in startups, so I know how much a small company can absorb, and more recently I've led delivery of AI-enabled services. Programs get bigger. The problem stays about the same size.

My résumé is on LinkedIn.

Tell me what's going on.

What's late, what's unclear, what the status report leaves out, or what you're about to commit to. I read every message myself and will tell you whether I can help.
